Bocca di Magra

The Bocca di Magra beaches are about 1km away from Villa Ori and can be easily reached through the promenade along the Magra River which is right in front of the structure. The first beach you meet is the Debiross private beach equipped with all comforts, immediately afterwards there is the small free beach of fine sand with a small cliff. This free beach ends on a rocky promontory behind which there is the small Sanità beach owned by the Santa Croce Monastery, a quiet beach enclosed in a small bay.

Portovenere

About 45 minutes by car from Bocca di Magra it’s possible to reach the village of Portovenere, a Unesco site since 1997, located in the westernmost part of the Gulf of Poets. Starting from the central square of this historic village, the first beach you come across is the pebble beach of Arenella, which is equipped with showers and changing rooms, immediately after that there is the free beach of the Olivo, followed by the private beaches of Sporting Beach and the ones belonging to Le Terrazze bathhouse.

Fiascherino and Tellaro

Upon reaching the small village of Tellaro, one of the ten most beautiful villages in Italy, you will discover several inlets and small coves that can be easily reached through short stairways. Echo of the Sea is the first private and equipped cove that you meet on the way to Tellaro, immediately afterwards, in the locality of Fiascherino, there are two small coarse sand beaches with deckchair and umbrella rental, pedal boat and canoe rental services. Finally, upon reaching Tellaro you can dive into the crystal clear sea near the rocks of Trigliano which can be reached by swimming or through small paths from the historic center.

Lerici and San Terenzo

Located a few km away from Villa Ori, the beaches of the Gulf of Poets can be easily reached by leaving the car in the large car park of the Venere Azzurra: the first beach you come across is that of the Venere Azzurra, a sandy beach equipped with all services boasting a long cliff, continuing on the promenade towards Lerici, just 100 meters away, you’ll meet the Lido private beach, while upon reaching the village itself, direction the Castle, 3 small coves frame it, the Calette San Giorgio. Continuing along the walk from Castle to Castle towards the village of San Terenzo, you’ll meet the Colombo private beach and immediately after that the free equipped beach of San Terenzo. Right beyond the village of San Terenzo there is the Baia Blu Bay with a free beach and a private beach with swimming pool.

Fiumaretta and Marinella

In front of the locality of Bocca di Magra, on the other side of the Magra River, there are the equipped beaches of Fiumaretta boasting shallow waters suitable for children, immediately afterwards you meet the free beaches of Marinella di Sarzana and a series of equipped and private bathhouses stretching all along the coast up to the border with Tuscany.

Versilia and Marina di Massa

At the beginning of the Tuscan coast, just 3km away from the locality of Bocca di Magra, you can reach the towns of Marina di Carrara and Marina di Massa with its pier. Upon entering the province of Lucca, the coastline of the Versilia area begins stretching until the town of Viareggio. This coastline, about 5 km long, contains dozens of private and equipped bath establishments passing through the towns of Forte dei Marmi and Lido di Camaiore.
